This conference is open to all Christian women who attend or worship with or, in any way, encourage and support the work of the Diocese of Athabasca ACW. Come and join us as together we are nourished to LIVE, LOVE & LAUGH

Guest Speaker: Rev. Leigh Sinclair

Bio: “I am an Edmontonian by birth and was raised there, went to seminary in Saskatoon and for the last 4 years have served the Lutheran and United Church folks in a shared minitry in a small town called Spiritwood. I am still single but consider my nephews and the youth from my church "my" kids. I am in the midst of saying good bye to Spiritwood and will be moving to Slave Lake in July 2010 to serve the folks at St. Peter's Ecumenical Church (so excited to come "home" to Alberta, get closer to family and stay in ecumenical ministry). My favorite things are books, coffee and sunshine (best when combined) but also love a long walks on the prairies, movies and theological discussions! I will bring energy and humour to you all and look forward to “Working WITH YOU as we Live, Love and Laugh” together in May!”

Friday, May 14, 2010
Registration begins at 6:00 pm.
Supper is on your own this evening. The formal part of the evening will be finished at about 9:30.

Saturday, May 15, 2010
Breakfast begins at 7:30 am. We will be having sessions with our speaker, the Annual General Meeting, a time for sharing and a time with our national president, Marion Saunders, a craft time, a catered supper and photo time. After closing service we will finalize the evening with your entertainment – skits, songs, surprises, etc.

Sunday, May 16, 2010
Breakfast is again at 7:30. There will be a closing session with our speaker, some time for sharing, a surprise or two, and the closing service at 11:00 am. Lunch will be supplied following the service and then home time.
